Buenavista, Pijao and Córdoba are three quiet towns in the western Andes of Quindío, and this is a full day across all three — three distinct farms, three brewing methods, and the growers themselves rather than a rehearsed script at one show farm.

Eight hours, private, for groups of two to seven, with a certified English-speaking guide and a homemade Colombian lunch in the middle. Pickup is from anywhere in the Quindío department, which is what makes the three-town route possible at all.

How the day works

• Private pickup (about 30 minutes). Your driver and guide meet you at your hotel in Armenia, Salento, or anywhere in Quindío.
• Buenavista (about 2 hours). Known for its panoramas and its cafes. A boutique coffee farm where the grower walks you through cultivation from the inside.
• A traditional lunch (about 1 hour). Homemade, with regional ingredients, in the local tradition. It is included.
• Pijao (about 1.5 hours). Colombia’s only certified Cittaslow town. Painted architecture, quiet streets, and a community that made slow living an official position.
• Córdoba and the golden-hour tasting (about 2.5 hours). Streets and market stalls, the local coffee trade, and the day closing with a specialty tasting.
• Drive back (about 30 minutes). Through coffee country as the light goes.

• Comfortable walking shoes. Some of these streets are hilly and uneven, though the day overall is rated easy.
