Safe Transfers Colombia operates private transfers across Santa Marta and Magdalena — from Simón Bolívar International Airport to El Rodadero, the historic center and Pozos Colorados, and east to Tayrona, Palomino and Minca. Vetted drivers, real-time flight tracking, and one fixed price agreed before you book.

Before You Book Ground Transport in Santa Marta

The Airport Is South of the City

Simón Bolívar International Airport (SMR) sits about 16 kilometers south of the historic center. That puts El Rodadero and the Pozos Colorados hotel corridor between the airport and downtown — roughly 10 minutes from arrivals, against 20 to 25 minutes into the old city.

Sea on One Side, Sierra on the Other

Santa Marta is where the Sierra Nevada meets the Caribbean, and the two directions behave differently. East along the Troncal del Caribe you reach Tayrona National Park and, two hours out, Palomino. South and up, a narrow road climbs to Minca. Park entrances close early and that road slows after rain, so timing is planned into the quote.

One Fixed Number

There is no meter and no surge. Tell us the route, the date and the number of passengers, and we send back a fixed quote in USD, confirmed before you book. On the Tayrona and Palomino runs that covers the return leg and the waiting time too.

Complete door-to-door routes, not shuttle segments. Each is priced as a single trip with one driver and covers both directions.
