This private day connects all three.

Curití first, a town with a fique weaving and ceramics tradition that long predates the tourism economy. Then an hour on a quad bike through the tracks and ridgelines between the fincas. Then Pescaderito, a spring-fed pool, green-tinted and cold enough to be worth it.

How the day works

• Pickup and the drive to Curití (1 to 3 hours). Depends on where you are staying in Santander. That time is inside the total.
• Curití on foot (about 1 hour). The main square, the church, and the storefronts where the artisans actually work.
• The quad bike ride (about 1 hour). Safety briefing and a walkthrough of the controls first, then out onto the farm tracks and countryside roads.
• Pescaderito (about 2 hours). A short walk in from the entrance, then find a spot and swim.
• The drive back (1 to 3 hours).

Good to know

• Bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes. You will want to get into the water at Pescaderito, and a dry set for the drive home makes the difference.
• Closed-toe shoes for the quad bike. Flip-flops are fine for the pool and wrong for the ride.
• Transfer time is inside the 5 to 8 hours and depends on where you are based in Santander.
• No riding experience needed. The ride is about an hour on farm tracks and country roads, and your guide walks you through everything first.
• Sunscreen and a hat. Santander’s midday sun is strong, particularly at the pool.
• With children: the quad section needs each rider to be able to operate the bike safely after the briefing. Tell us their ages when you book and we will tell you honestly whether it works.

What should I bring?

How long is the quad ride itself?

About an hour, across farm tracks and country roads through the hills and fincas around Curití.

How long is the whole day?

Five to eight hours including the transfer both ways. The range is down to where you are staying in Santander.

Is lunch included?

No. There are places to stop in Curití or near Pescaderito if you want to eat along the way, and your guide can point you at them.

How do we get to Santander in the first place?

We drive it. Bogotá to San Gil and Barichara, or from the nearest airport Bucaramanga to San Gil and the Bucaramanga airport transfer.
